Examines the role that poetry plays in our world, using Big Understandings such as “Poetry is pruned prose” and ” Poems contain binary opposites in their themes/messages” through to Essential Questions such as, “Why would writers choose to write a poem instead of prose or a picture?” and “Some things can be described as ï¿½visual poetryï¿½ and ï¿½tactile poetry etc. What are the connections?ï¿½, . PLUS a choice of creative thinking activities, assessment tools etc.
